I got the incredible opportunity to direct this piece of work that paired our Cricket Wireless characters in a remote environment with our customers. Echoing the same sentiment from Calendar of Happy Customers (see other campaign tab), we were able to create a natural conversation between character and customer.
The creative was meant to represent a TikTok style duet and our challenge was to juxtapose an extreme environment, which has never been done to this extent with the Cricket Wireless brand, and our customers. We collaborated with Psyop to bring these vivid environments to life while we were able to hone in on our customer performances. We wanted the customers to feel very natural and grounded in reality. In addition to directing the campaign, I also dusted off my animation chops to bring our offer cards to life.
Overall, we were able to achieve these 6 visually compelling pieces and create work that's new to the Cricket Wireless brand, giving them a fresh treatment of their branded characters.
